Iberdrola bets on companies like Cameto to advance the decarbonization of the planet and advance the energy transition

Several companies in Castilla-La Mancha have consolidated themselves as suppliers of materials and services for the development of the energy transition. Its activity has served to promote the development and creation of employment in rural areas.

Iberdrola, a world leader in renewable energy, is committed to its alliance with local suppliers with the aim of advancing towards the decarbonization of the planet. This commitment brings with it economic growth and job creation in the areas in which it is located.                                                                         

Globally, Iberdrola allocates more than € 12.000 million in purchases to its more than 19.000 suppliers.

Among them, they highlight the ones that enable the generation of this ""green energy"" generated by the company like Eiffage, BOPistas, of Albacete, that builds the plants; Electria, from Socuéllamos, for substations; Cameto, in Tomelloso, as a supplier of metal structures for Almaraz photovoltaics (Cáceres); Garoc, also citadel, dedicated to high voltage lines; Kapital, in Puertollano, or firms like Fammsa, in Los Yébenes (Toledo), dedicated to high-voltage line towers for the Alcarria photovoltaic project in Guadalajara.
